Our veteran & puppy customers need gentle, careful handling along with patience and understanding. For this reason, we have put in place tailored services to each to ensure they are well looked after.

We understand that older dogs often have joint aliments, lumps and bumps, and we make sure we do an accurate health check and use correct techniques and equipment during their groom.

Elderly dogs will have a tailored groom that will involve a rest halfway through, making sure that the environment has minimal stress factors. We will always aim to book in on a day that is quieter and more relaxed for them.

For puppies, socialisation and being introduced to strange and new places & sounds is key to their training from an early age. We have a package in place that involves them having a brush, fuss and plenty of treats, whilst also introducing them to the various sights and sounds of a grooming salon. They can do several of these sessions, progressing to involve a bath with pad and nail trim. This then helps get them ready for a full groom around 3-4 months old. When they come to have their first groom, we ensure we have staff to assist and reassure them throughout so they are calm and realise that it is a positive experience.
