Q&A

Any other questions? Give us a ring and let’s have a chat!

We do not mix dogs but there will be other dogs being groomed at the same time. We have a quiet grooming area which any dog that is finding the experience stressful can be taken to. You can request your dog is not groomed near others and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Generally the answer is No. However, we do have a couple of very elderly clients who we assist with collection and delivery. If you live locally and do not have transport please ask. We make a small charge for this service to cover our petrol costs.

Yes we do. We only use Natural Cruelty Free products and we discuss which shampoo to use with you. All dogs are washed twice and have their faces gently washed using a tear free facial spa product. The coat is thoroughly rinsed and conditioner applied if required. We hand dry all the dogs and do not use Cabinets. Your dog will be carefully brushed to ensure all tangles are removed.

No, but if you suspect your pet has fleas or ticks please tell us as we need to book you in at the end of the day. We do charge a surcharge of £10 to cover costs as we have to deep clean and spray the salon afterwards with special flea spray. On finding fleas we will bath your pet in insecticidal shampoo and remove ticks. If we are concerned about the flea or tick load on your pet, we will advise you to visit your vet for treatment.

Yes, an appointment has to be made. As we get very busy we would advise you call us about 1-2 weeks before your trim is required, or book at the end of your trim for next time.

Approximately 2 hours but we will advise when booking. The appointment can be longer if the coat is very long or matted.

All grooms include brushing, trimming (either stripping or clipping), bathing if required or requested, ear check, eye check, nail clipping and visual health check.

We hope not but sometimes it is necessary to protect ourselves from being bitten. We will try a range of calming techniques and only resort to a muzzle if we feel we are in danger or the dog could hurt itself.

We do not allow members of the public to come into the grooming or bathing areas for health and safety reasons.
