Clipping Services

We offer three levels of Clipped groom.

  • Our Bronze service includes a warm bath using shampoo which is appropriate for the age and skin type of your dog, using a low velocity stand dryer and a second handheld dryer, the coat is dried and cleared of dead coat and any knots. The coat is then clipped to an agreed length, including legs, head and ears. Nails are trimmed and ears and eyes cleaned. There is no styling with this package. Average time for groom is one and half hours.
  • For customers wanting a styled finish, either breed standard or otherwise, our SILVER package is offered. Once your dog is washed and dried, a more senior groomer will clip and scissor the coat to the required style. This standard of groom takes longer, two or two and half hours, depending on size of your dog.
  • Finally, we offer a GOLD service which includes ultra-sonic maintenance teeth cleaning. Whilst we offer teeth cleaning as an optional extra, regular maintenance, on every groom, gives the best results and delays, if not preventing, a full tooth clean with your vet. Our senior groomer will need to undertake an initial clean appointment to assess the suitability of this treatment and to remove existing plaque and tartar build up.

Nails & Ears

  • Nail clips and ear checks included within grooms, no extra charge
  • Most dogs have a dew claw which is their thumb. This does not wear down and can continue to grow so needs cutting.
  • We charge a nominal amount if you wish to have your dogs claws cut between trims.
  • Ears are often overlooked and a build up of dirt in the ear can lead to ear infections.
  • We check your dog’s ears regularly at their trim and clean them for you.
  • If we feel your dog has an infection, we will let you know and you can book an appointment to have them looked at by your veterinary surgeon.
